Basic Drumkit From Hell EZX Info

I’m interested in buying the Drumkit From Hell EZX, but I have a couple preliminary questions. Some of these may be pretty “childish”, but I’m pretty knew to drum programming.

1. Can you use the Drumkit From Hell EZX to program your own drum beats, or can you only use beats that are already pre-programmed?

2. Can you use the Drumkit From Hell EZX in GarageBand?

3. My Mac is an OS 10.5.7, is this compatible with the Drumkit From Hell EZX?

Basically, I want to use the Drumkit From Hell EZX to make my own drum beats in GarageBand so I can make some demos for my band. Sorry again for the ignorant questions 😉

1. DFH EZX is an expansion pack for http://www.toontrack.com/product/ezdrummer-2/. So, the EZdrummer plugin is required to use the DFH EZX. EZD/DFH EZX are drum sounds and MIDI can be programmed in your host (GarageBand). I’m assuming there is a Piano Roll type MIDI Editor in GarageBand.

2. Yes, see above.

3. Mac OS 10.5 or higher is supported for EZdrummer/EZXs.

Does that mean that I need to first buy EZDrummer, then buy DFH EZX? Sorry if this is a stupid question ha ha!

No, you can buy them at the same time if you want! 

But EZdrummer (or Superior Drummer 2) is required to use any EZX.

I accidentally purchased the Drumkit from Hell expansion thinking that was a version of the EZDrummer program and not an expansion. Is it possible to get a refund on a digital download purchase?

Same thing happened to me as tpease20.

I do not have the money to buy the full package, so it was bought in error.. please give me my money back!
