macOS Sierra retail version was released.
    Is this issue corrected?

I just tired and it seems all of Toontrack’s “custom” installers don’t work. So, I can install Superior Drummer 2.0, but not the libraries. Same goes for EZDrummer and the lot.

we are aware of the issue and should have a solution in the very near future. Thanks for your patience.

Is there an ETA for this fix? Or is there a way to install the Core Library manually?

I expect it will be available in the first half of next week, possibly as early as Monday, all going well.

To install Avatar in the meantime you can do as follows:

    1) download Avatar as normal if you haven’t done so already

    2) browse your Toontrack Download folder to retrieve the ‘SL-Avatar’ folder
normally you will find it at: /Users//Downloads/Toontrack/SL-Avatar_SDX/Contents/SL-Avatar

    3) copy (or eventually move) this folder to your desired location. There are no restriction per se, it can be anywhere you like, as long as there are roughly 20GB of free space on that disk on partition.

    4) in Superior 2, use the ‘Add Path to Library’ function on the settings tab, pointing it to your copied SL-Avatar folder

I recommend you wait until the Sierra compatible Product Manager next week for installing the Avatar MIDI (and any other type of contents besides SDXs) – while it’s possible to bypass the installers, the process varies from product type to product type and the choice of locations depend on the parent products (and sometimes choices made by users at install time of the parent product).

A quick follow up to note that a Product Manager update has just been released. It addresses the crash on launch of Toontrack custom installers for all except SDX (full product install and library updates). We should have a fix for the Superior Sound installer (and updater) in the next few days, but we wanted to get this one out the door without delay since it concerns the majority of our products.

… so, on topic with this thread, the previous post remain valid until further notice for the core library (and any other SDX), athough when it comes to install the MIDI it should now be possible to use the Product Manager to install it on Sierra.

It should now be possible to install SDXs using the Product Manager. The Product Manager will auto-update when you launch it next, so there is nothing to download from the site for Sierra compatibility in that context.

For users who can’t use the Product Manager to install their SDX (for example due to their size, or lack of access to the Internet on the relevant workstation) , we will release a support installer on the site early next week that can work against the products DVD. Note that an upcoming OSX Sierra release seem to address the issue that affects our installers, as found on SDXs and EZXs products DVD, so it’s possible the situation irons itself out for those unable to download products from our servers (through the Product Manager).

    Hi deraza,

from your Download history, it looks like you have downloaded the Product Manager, is that correct?
Just tried to download it myself, using my phone since I’m on a bus, and it went fast.

If you still have problems, please check that you don’t have any problems downloading in general.
    Where are you located?

    BR,
    John
