I do everything as I’m supposed to do. Everything goes well until I paste the authorization in the field and press AUTHORIZE. Then I get:
Authorization failed! Please check the codes and try again. Wich I did/do but the codes are the same everytime. It does’t work…
HELP, what do I do wrong?
What host are you using when authorizing?
Can you try authorizing using Toontrack Solo?
You’re not using the same authorization code for EZplayer as you used for S2 correct?
Also, please fill in your system specs on your profile page (host, OS, etc.)

As far as I’m concerned, the most common reason for EZplayer Pro (and Superior 2 for that matter) authorizations to fail, is that people confuse the two authorization codes, or tries to use just one of them for both products.

What host are you using when authorizing? #My host is Ziggo, the biggest cable/internetprovider in my country.
Can you try authorizing using Toontrack Solo? #Same problem.
You’re not using the same authorization code for EZplayer as you used for S2 correct? #No, I do not
Also, please fill in your system specs on your profile page (host, OS, etc.) # I did.

See this recent thread on authorization. In particular, John’s post #5.

The OP is referring the EZdrummer but the same solution applies.

Hey so i’m trying to authorize my ezplayer and it says that i need the serial number to get the authorization code. So first off i have a serial number for my ezdrummer and i don’t know if i need another serial number for my ezplayer. Now I bought this toontrack box with all the expansion packs on it and the first disk includes the ezplayer pro. So what does that mean? Don’t i have the ezplayer program to use? How do i get another serial number? Do i need another serial number?
thanks
If you only bought EZdrummer, then you’ll only have the serial number for EZdrummer. If you’d like to purchase EZplayer, you can purchase the serial number from the Toontrack webshop.

I’m having the same issue but I’d been using the same authorization code as for SD2. I am under the understanding that when you buy SD2, which I just did, you automatically get EZplayer, which I’ve now installed. Is that correct or was I given wrong info? If I’m correct, how do I go about authorizing EZplayer? I use protools LE 8.
Thanks!
Alex
Alex, you bought the VSSD box, right? The one with all products in it?

Right but I only installed the SD2, EZplayer and Solo as that’s what I was instructed to do. I only got one license number/serial number from sweetwater.com where I purchased this.
Solo is working just fine and so is SD2, but EZplayer keeps asking for an authorization code and it seems that the only way to get one is by having a serial number for just EZplayer.
Alex
PS. Thanks for a prompt response! In case my other post is not seen, yes, I bought the VSSD box with all the products in it. I would have to buy each of them (or license) in order for me to use them, right? Anyway, the issue at hand, though, is that I can’t use EZplayer right now.
I will wire an EZplayer Pro serial to your account, hang on….

You now have an EZplayer Pro serial in your account, sorry for the inconvenience.

I also keep getting an “authorization failed” for the installation of EZPlayer Pro. I used the serial number for my product, Toontrack Solo, to receive an authorization code, which it gave me. But from what you’re saying, it sounds like I need a serial number for the EZPlayer itself. If that is the case, could you please send me one? Thank you.
