Hi
Newbie here. Just installed ezdrummer and toontrack solo onto my pc to be triggered by dtxplorer kit. I have a dual zone ride cymbal. Here’s the question, when I hit the rim of the ride it triggers the right hand crash in the ezdrummer ui. When I hit the main body of the ride it properly triggers the ride cymbal. When I hit my second crash (cable goes into back of kick drum) it triggers the left hand crash in the ui (as does hitting the actual left hand crash on my kit.) What I’d like to know is can I set something up so that hitting the rim of the ride triggers the bell sound as in the ezdrummer ui and when I hit the second crash it properly triggers the right hand crash on the ui. Like I say I’m a newbie to ezdrummer so don’t know if this is possible or not.
Thanks,
Robert
I don’t think you can change note numbers with ezdrummer. S2 will though. Can you change the trigger notes within the dtexplorer module? I think that is your only option unless you have a host program that can remap the notes. I had this working in cubase with the drumedit where you can remap the note in to a different note out

Hi,
editing notes in EZdrummer and Toontrack solo isn’t possible, this is a Superior 2 feature, just as mark.king writes.
You should make sure you are updated on your Toontrack software and select the ‘MIDI Controller>E-drums’ option in Toontrack solo. If you need further tweaks, it has to be done in your module.
