asking for computer ID when authorizing

    Toontrack allows you to install on two computers. This ID is so you know which computer(s) have authorizations. Mine are “Studio” and ” Office”. In the future when I do a 3rd install on a “Laptop”, I will easily be able to make a decision on which of my other installations to deactivate due to computer ID.

    I am trying to install my new software and it is asking me for a computer ID.  What is this?

    Please use the Toontrack Product Manager to authorize and not the website.

    I think I got past that. Now in Studio One 5 it says “no libraries found.”

    In the product manager, install the “EZD3 Core Library”.

    I did that. It even says it’s installed.  But it keeps asking for authorization with a long computer ID code.  To the left it says there is still a product that needs to be authorized. Items 1,2 and 4 are checked but it wants a computer ID code. Not the name of the computer. Help.

    From your account history you are still trying to use the Website instead of the Product Manager application. Using the Product Manager application will make authorizing easier.

    I don’t know how to do that.  The application justpulls up a window that says “sound library issue”. Gives 2 fix options: 1) Plug in disk. and check library paths. 2) Rescan or restart EZdrummer 3. But those don’t do anything.  Is there anyone I can speak to?

    My comments were all assuming you installed the Product Manger. It is here and it is free. Install and launch it before continuing…
