Thinking about getting Fields of Rock as I think they have some of the best sounding kits I’ve heard on the YouTube demos, I’m just now sure how they’ll hold up to blastbeats and quicker playing. I do currently have Death and Darkness, Rock Foundry, and a few EZX.
Death and Darkness is great but I find the kits are mostly likely tuned for blistering fast metal and tend to sound a little stiff and thin when the material slows down. My songs tend to jump between death/black metal and then doom, so I’m looking for something that’ll sound natural on the slower parts.
Anyone with experience using Fields of Rock playing metal (fast and slow) please chime in, thanks!
