Well I jumped on SD 2.0 (and pretty much all of the SDX’s) where I wanted the best final audio mix. I pretty much ignored EZ Drummer thinking (possible ignorantly ) that it was inferior to SD 2.0 and that SD 2.0 was essentially EZD2’s big brother… same funtionality but deeper.Well as luck would have it it looks like for the most part EZD2 is actually more of what I am looking for on a day to day basis. I am now looking into buying EZD2 for the functionality and ease of use in finding the MIDI files I want. .. Now the question is will SDX’s load with possible limited functionality into EZD2 at all. I have no real interest in EZX expansions where over all when it comes down to it the SDX’s are (no pun intended) “superior”. I would like to be able to use a similarly voiced kit when creating the tracks in EZD2 to then bring the MIDI tracks over to SD 2.0 and tweak and refine to produce an audio track. Thanks for your help!
EZdrummer cannot use SDXs. Superior 2 can use EZXs, including
those two that ship with EZD2.
EZD2 has MIDI-out capability, so you can use EZD2 for finding and modifying
MIDI files while having Superior 2 playing them.
