Any Jazz Ballad Brush Sweep midi loop?

Hi there,

I’m looking for a drum midi pack in Jazz ballad style. It should sound like “Miles Davis feel” Cool Jazz Ballad with brush sweep.

Is there any kinds of loops in the midi pack “Big Band Grooves” or ” Jazz midi ” using the “circle” articulation?

Any advice?

you need a library with brushes as well. Libraries that include ‘swirls’ are:

Decades SDX
Roots SDX
Superior Drummer 3 SDX
Big Band EZX
Custom Shop EZX
Jazz EZX

Thanks for the reply.

I’ve got the Big Band EZX as well, so I need to know whether the “Big Band Grooves Midi Pack” itself contains midi file using the ‘swirls’.

I have no idea that Toontrack offers refund if I can’t find what I need in the product, so I’m asking for help before buying. There’s few information at the product’s page.

You can search the entire Toontrack MIDI library of you enable the Show Webshop MIDI in the Search tab in EZD2. You can then select any library/genre/style/etc and brows the grooves.

First load your Big Band EZX brush kit so you can preview the grooves your looking for. Next, click the Show Webshop MIDI in the Search tab and allow it to load the database. Then, select “Jazz” in the Search Genre column and “Swirls” in the Play Style column. Filter more if you want (swing, time signature, et al). Brows the results.
