Just upgraded to SD3 after hearing that setting up with Roland issues have been made simple. I’m having issues with open & closed edge. I’m using a TD-12 module and made sure my Hihat CC set to 4 and local control is set to “off”. The default Roland trigger setup worked on all other pads, I had to do “learn open & learn closed” however i get one or the other, if I do learn open it get that sound even when pedal open or closed, same with learn closed. I have done a reset and reload on a new SD3 kit with no better results. Hi hats work great when playing withing the TD12.
Any help would be I have spent hours on this along with days on SD2
