Please load up the “Metal Foundry” sound library.

The “Metal Foundry Presets – Andy Sneap” only work with that library, as stated in its name and on its product description page.

Thank you for the response! This is what I read: “This package, designed as an expansion for our industry standard Superior Drummer 2 and the Metal Foundry SDX…”. I did see the “requires” statement you posted but, it was unclear as the statement I copied suggests that it would work with either. I’m new to SD and I simply clicked on the “expand SD” within the program and it took me to the page where I purchased the expansion pack in good faith. After researching this whole thing, I’ve discovered what the game is. I do wish it were spelled out more clearly and not in a single place in very small print. Unfortunately, the SDX I prefer is “The Rock Warehouse” which, if purchased, would make the Andy Sneap presets I purchased useless to me. Guess I wasted $15 and I don’t expect a refund for buying the wrong product. Again, I wish it were spelled out clearly and plainly for new users in order to avoid the disappointment of buying the wrong product. After looking at the forums, I realize that I am not the first person to get befuddled with this. The next thing I find confusing is, what’s the difference between a MIDI pack and an SDX and a preset pack? I’d hate to buy the wrong product yet again! Much of the info on the website seems to assume a pre-understanding of how this all works. I certainly don’t have that! Thanks again for the help! Very much appreciated! Tom
