Alesis DM6 and Toontrack Solo+Superior Drummer 2 Problem

I’m new to VST, so any help would be appreciated. I just bought superior drummer 2, and I’m trying to set it up with Alesis DM6. I was able to load it up with Toontrack SOLO, and set up the options for midi control,but when I play my drum kit, there is no sound. I already checked the midi input with midi ox and it seems to work fine. All the drivers are up to date. Please help!

Hi,

In Toontrack solo make sure that the MIDI device that you are using has a check to the left of the name. It is a common mistake for a user to click on the name of the device but leave the box unchecked. IF the box is unchecked then the device is not selected. (This is in Options > MIDI device).

Thank you for replying. It was the usb port. I had it on a usb3.0, but with windows 8.1, my e-drums only work with usb 2.0.
