adding tom to an empty slot and get a mixer channel?

Me and my friend was looking at this marvellous sd3 this weekend wich he just purchased. We found a great preset wich included premier toms. Only Three toms are availible so we added the same tom again twice and pitched them so we used 5 toms in the set. But we could not figure out how to let the pitched toms have a own channel in the mixer. Cus we wanted to mix them the same as the other toms with same fx. Someone knows how to do it?

Hi,

select the Tom and then ‘More’, either via right-click or the Drums page menu, then ‘Route Instrument Microphones…’.
There you can decide whether you wish to route the Tom(s) via an existing mixer channel or create a new one.
If you route via an existing but unused channel, you may have to ‘Edit visibility’ to see it in the mixer.
