So, I have Warehouse drums for Superior Drummer, which sounds pretty large.
I wanted to add small toms to my kit, and found the octobans from the EXZ Reggae kit.
However, the Reggae kit is somewhat dry, and the octobans don’t sound like they are “in the same room”.
I was able to add a mic from the octoban x-drum settings, but when I go to the ambience/room bleed settings, the octoban mic does not have a checkbox.
So, how can I add some reverb/room size to my x-drum (octobans) so they sound like they’re in the same room as the Warehouse kit?
That’s the difficulty with using kit pieces from vastly different libraries.
The best thing would be to use the multi-out routing in the S2 mixer and route out into your DAW channels and use a ‘master’ reverb to glue all of the elements together.
There isn’t a way to use a ‘room’ sound from a sample from one library in another library. The ambience is recorded with the samples and not as some aux effect.
