Hi, I am in need of support and would very much appreciate anyone’s help regarding my EZDrummer 2 purchase. I first bought EZDrummer 1 some years ago (Boxed CD copy) with serial number.
I have since updated this with EZDrummer 2 version (on line download) from TOONTRACK.
Everything was fine up until recently when my computer hard drive failed catastrophically with everything on it including my account details and the ‘EZDrummer 2’ programme itself. I have bought and fitted a new hardrive but of course I do not have the information I need on it to re-activate my EZDrummer 2 programme.
I have recently accessed Toon Track via the internet and opened a new account which I’m now thinking was a mistake? The reason i did was because i had no information (old account details fried with hard drive) and thought opening another account would at least give me access.
I did attempt to download the original purchase (CD copy) but was unsuccessful. Can TOONTRACK access my original account ? If so, they will see that I have purchased EZDrummer 2 version from them. As said, I have no way of accessing this myself as my old account details and the programme itself perished with my broken hard drive. All I have now is my new account with no proof of my EZDrummer 2 update purchase.
Obviously my ‘new’ account does not show any purchase so therefore, it cannot be activated.
I love EZDrummer and it’s essential in me continuing with my music production. I don’t know anything else!

You will need to contact Toontrack Support directly via the Contact Support button in the FAQ below. Provide them with as much info af you can (name on the original account and email address at least if possible). They should be able to move your license from the old account to your new one as long as they can find the old one.

Hi Scott, thanks for getting back, much appreciated. Yes, I’ve done that but had no reply yet? That’s the problem i have no written record of my ‘old’ account details or purchase. All i could offer them is my name, billing address and the serial number of my first boxed purchase (EZDrummer 1). Surely they could find me on their system with that info? Or is that just wishful thinking?

It’s a holiday in the US so I don’t think support is in the offices today. That info should be enough to find you in the system and do the account transfer.
