Hi
I have SD3 and 9 SDX’s
So it’s taken a couple of days to get close to all the downloading and installing to happen… finally most of the programs are “ready to use”
I have on the TPM a ‘Free up Disk Space’ option. Which has a ‘clean up’ box. Currently that suggests over 300GB can be deleted [downloads for Windows]
I’m a little nervous to go ahead with this – as I am not very computer savvy, and I have seen others write about how this caused their installed products to get deleted. I fear this may happen to me…
I choose a destination folder for all the products [d: Toontrack] – I did this as the D: drive has a lot of space.
Does this mean if I do the clean up – it will delete everything and I will have to start again?
So in my d: toontrack folder I have two folders for each program, so for example,
SL-Decades
SL-Decades_SDX
SL-Indie_SDX
SL-Indiependent
etc…
If I chose ‘clean up’ – will it just take away the folders that [are duplicates BUT] do not have SDX on the end?
I just read a few threads of people who had the whole things deleted. So I was hoping for some clarification before I potentially make a mistake and waste another few days downloading everything again
Thanks

Yes,
that should be perfectly safe but if you are unsure, please post a screenshot of the path to the library from either the PM or the SD3 plug-in/app and also a screenshot of the path to your ‘Downloads’ in the Product Manager Preferences.

Hi,
are you asking about where you find the paths?
If so, the path to your ‘Downloads’ folder is displayed in the Preferences for the Product Manager.
The path to your library can be seen either in the product’s Installation Info in the Product Manager or in the SD3 Settings > Libraries/Paths.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Toontrack\Superior Drummer\SL-SuperiorDrummer3
and
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Toontrack\EZDrummer
path for user presets
C:\Users\Noel\Documents\Toontrack\Superior3
Are my files safe from the “clear space” button?

Hallo Olof, sorry to butt in on this thread, but there is a thread which has received ZERO replies from anyone at Toontrack which I find weird!! Would you please consider taking a look at it? Thank you!! https://www.toontrack.com/forums/topic/updating-multiple-products-feature-request/page/3/#post-3154972
Best regards, Nigel
