Good morning all. So in my search for a powerful and capable drum programming software I found superior drummer 3. And it looks fantastic. But I have a couple questions before I buy.
First, can it be used as a standalone program? I’m currently running on Studio One Artist and that version of Studio One does not support 3rd party VST plugins. Which is really the only setback of the program.
Second, can the key be used by two people in two different locations? My buddy is also in the market for the same thing, and we want to split the cost of the program if possible.
Thanks in advance!
And if this is the wrong spot to post this, I apologize. I’m posting from work
Yes, S3 can be used in standalone.
No, the S3 license is for a single user, not to be shared between 2 users. One user can install S3 on 2 computers, provided that only 1 is used at a time i.e. Installed on a laptop and a desktop computer.

Thanks for the reply! So if I make something with sd3, I should be able to export the final drum track into studio one?
If Studio One can import audio files, yes. You would need to bounce the S3 Song Track to audio and then import it.
