Hi all. Very, very happy with s2.0. Here’s my first attempt at a rock tune with vocals using the software. It’s the stock kit with a Steven Slate preset from the producers pack (first preset I think) and a midi groove from songwriter pack 2. Bass is trilian, gtrs are through an axe ultra. I also used several Ezmix presets for the different vocals, guitars and on the master out, so toontrack stuff is all over the place. I’m a scrub at mixing and programming so the toontrack tools are great for those of us with limited production techniques.

Anyone think the drums are too pronounced? I dialed out some low end on the bass…is it still too bassy?
Thanks.

Although I’m listening to this on my laptop, it sounds like an nice tune.
IMHO – the drums should have a lower tone (overall) to give them that ’70s rock feel.
The reason I say that is because that’s what I thought of when I heard this tune.
It is a nice tune. But that is my humble opinion.
thanks a lot for letting us hear it!
Take care
Scott

Hi Scott…thanks for taking the time to comment. A 70’s rock feel is exactly what I’m going for with more modern heavier guitars on the outro solo. I’ll try it with a lower drum tone and give it a listen.
