why don’t you introduce an offset option . it would save everyone a lot of time . its old school you count 1234 for all your beats ,but in the real world we count 1and 2and 3and 4and. i.e. the beat starts late in the bar and ties over hence groovy feel. so beat 1 is hi hat and the bass drum falls on the second 1/8 beat .you have to adjust your guitar style to fit but you will be rewarded with easy to follow regions in the daw .i have listened to your hip hop claptrap and its appalling with every bass drum falling on the first beat /come on you can do better
