Solution:
EZplayer is a MIDI engine. It does not make sound by itself and requires a sound source as well as an appropriate ‘link’ to it before any sound can be heard. For a listing of supported sound sources i.e samplers please refer to the FAQ associated below.
If you have an appropriate sound source available in your host program, ready for playback, your first port of call should be to verify you have not missed a critical set up step, in other words that your MIDI routing is appropriate to result in a working ‘link’ between EZplayer and the sound source. Instructions are provided for all major hosts at the back of the EZplayer manual.
If problems persist please contact our support team for further advice but be sure you have sufficient familiarity with your sequencer and that you meet the host version requirements as stated in the manual before doing so. Toontrack Music reserves the right to refer you to your host maker support department and available documentation if the issue is not a fault with the software but one of operation of your chosen sequencer.
