Hello-I’ve been in touch w/Support several times since the announcement and it was suggested I post here as well. It’s a very real concern I deal with on a regular basis regarding maintaining and/or losing compatibility on the only rig I work on. I know of other professionals in a similar situation and hope my concerns might be considered:
As a Toontrack user for many many years, I’d like to make a formal and sincere request to reconsider the Min Sys Reqs for the upcoming EzMix3. The stated Reqs for Max are 10.13 but I am only able to run 10.11.6 (LPX 10.3.3). I’ve worked with several companies in Beta testing their new and unreleased software because of my Legacy Rig and several times getting things to validate was just a matter of them using an older SDK. I also currently and successfully run some software that requires up to OSX 10.15. One way to know for sure that EM3 would or would not AU Validate in LPX 10.3.3 would be to check the ‘info.plist’ file in the Contents folder of the Component. I understand Toontrack wanting to not troubleshoot older systems but I would be grateful if this could be overlooked with my understanding that any troubleshooting for EzMix3 wouldn’t extend to me. TT has forwarded my Support Comments above to HQ but I understand the Dev. Team visits here pretty regularly, so I’m hoping to at least touch base.
