Currently Superior Drummer support Straight Time and Triplet Time for its grids.
Mathematically speaking these split a bar into:
1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64
or
1, 3, 6, 12, 24, 48, 96
and so we see multiples of 5 and 7 and 9 for example are missing.
I once read that Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson of Rush would attempt to programme drum patterns that their legendary bandmate Neil Peart (RIP) could not play.
For those of us not as gifted and practised on the drums as the likes of Neil, trying to program drums within Superior Drummer to match the rythmic capabilities of the best drummers playing the most complex parts requires further tuplet capability within the plugin.
This seems to be a particulary minor programming feat that would make for a significantly more powerful and helpful plugin.
Pretty pretty please with a free tea party to sit and watch the unicorns play under the rainbows.
