Some users (mainly on Windows 11 Pro) have been affected by an issue like this, but launching these installers from Product Manager instead of from Explorer should make them work. How are you starting them?

I’ve tried everything I know, tried installing from Product Manager, explorer, command prompt, uninstalled reinstalled, deactivate computer re-activated. I’m out of ideas. Just come over from Apple to Windows – not a pleasant experience.

Strange. Is it so that you get the administrator prompt and after that, no further window appears and the installer is no longer running?

Reinstalling Windows has also been reported to fix this issue – if it is the same you have, though it’s odd then that starting installers from PM (since version 1.1.2) does not help…

Did you upgrade from a different version of Windows or was it a clean install? Is the OS fully updated?

I reinstalled Windows and all is now good.

Just for your info, the downloaded files would decompress, the install window would appear briefly and vanish – this was through Product Manager.

    Thankyou for your help.
