Ezdrummer2 OneShot Pad sounds mapping to Akai MPD218 pads

I would like to map/assign a Hand clap to PAD 1 and Finger Snap to PAD 2 on an MPD controller. I cannot get this to work as the “Key” and “Note” numbers for Handclap and Snaps are identical (Note=1, Key=C#-2). When assigning them via the MPD editor, one overwrites the other because of this. Does anyone have an idea how I can get these sounds mapped to different pads? Just not getting it. Thanks!

Hi,

you can’t have both Claps and Snaps on the One Shot Pad, it’s either or. That 1st pad is a one shot pad, the other two pads are for “future hit” instruments like Shaker, Maracas and Tambourine.
