Having used SD and EZD for years with both Roland E-Kits, keyboards, and a Korg mini drum controller (can’t remember the name), I’ve acquired a NI Maschine 3 and note it cam be used as a Midi controller.
However, it has no templates or configuration files for SSD or EZD, but I remember somebody on here using both the Maschine and the Micro versions to do this very thing.
I’ve searched the NI and Toon forums but came up with nothing. Same with Google. I realise I could just assign notes to the pads on the M3, but I think a lot more could be done programming wise. Unfortunately, I’ve only just got my M3 and am playing catchup. I’m promise I’m not being lazy, as I have searched high and low.
Has anyone made any anything of the sort ?
TIA

I originally posted about having the same issue but right after posting I found the answer so I’m putting this here in hopes it’ll help others who’ve run into the same issue….
The Solution (for me at least): In the ‘Select MIDI Device Window, if you scroll all the way to the Bottom there’s an entry that says “Maschine MK3 Virtual Input”. I ticked the checkbox next to that and now it works perfectly.
