Hi,
Does anyone know if it’s possible to play in 432 hz and not in 440 hz in Ez Keys or Ez Bass ? I did not find this option… Thx
Hi,
since 432 Hz is -31.767 cents down, you can tune them down -32 cents in their respective Tuning panel.

Thanked by: Scott EshlemanHi John,
Last question : if i tune to 432hz in ez bass or ez keys, do i have to tune SD3 too and how ?
Thx
Jay
Short answer: No
Longer answer: if you want to, you can tune each head to match your song (some say it will not matter, others swear by it) but there is no universal tuning in SD3. Each expansion’s heads will be tuned to what the drummer and producer agreed was sounding best at the time of recording.

Ok i see.. But in SD3, if i want to match with ez bass in 432 hz, does it correspond to 0:03.2 for each head ? or nothing to see..
The Tuning Property Box in SD3 has got no single digits for cents; its ‘octaves:semitones:cents’. Tuning ‘-0:00.3’ would be closest to the -32 cents in EZkeys/EZbass.
I am personally sceptic to applying a general tuning to your drums based on an alternative musical instrument tuning standard, which of course is OK since music is meant to be experimented with but…I digress.
