I love the browse feature and the ability to group song sections and to audition them in EZ Drummer. I just recently upgraded to EZD3 from EZD2. I own a bunch of expansion and midi packages provided from ToonTrack. I have some ideas for you to consider that could take EZD to the next level. Offer complete customizable song templates in every style where we can pre set parameters like tempo, meter, key, song structure, even meter, measure, time and dynamic change configurations in a dialogue section. After all of that has been set, EZ Drummer can generate the complete drum track, even in score form with the ability to add expression functionality there as well. Another feature could be to take that newly generated track and apply the style of a particular drummer, like Steve Gadd, Ringo Starr, Neil Peart, Jeff Porcaro, Dennis Chambers, Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa, Ginger Baker, John Bonham…you get the picture. Another option would be complete drum tracks based on famous songs that have been pre-programmed, with the ability to customize them to adapt to the songwriter’s song. I have EZ Drummer, Superior, Addictive, BFD, Steven Slate, Battery, Reason, Native Instruments, and some others. I haven’t seen the features I’ve described above in any other drum software to the extent that I am proposing. I believe it could be an incredible selling feature and give EZ Drummer a distinct advantage in the marketplace. What do you think?
