Can anybody please tell me how to obtain a valid VAT receipt for all the purchases I have made in the last couple of months? I finally found receipts for the last few purchases, but even they are not VAT receipts, without which I cannot reclaim the VAT I have paid. How do I obtain receipts for the previous purchases? I do not wish to give more than I have to to the government, so would appreciate receiving valid receipts. A valid VAT receipt must contain a statement of exactly how much VAT has been charged, and none of the receipts I have do.
