Hi everyone.
Trying to figure out and appreciate the bigger benefit of transferring my EZD 3 drum audio to my Pro Tools session as multi mono compared to just a stereo track.
As a novice mixer – I find the stereo track coming out of the plug-in sounds pretty good…
Thoughts?
Thanks
I find my choice of either Stereo or multi track drums song dependent. Sometimes the stereo mix is great, quick and easy and fits right in. Sometimes you need to tweak sounds, and the multi track is the only way to do it properly.

Thanked by: SparkyCanadaThanks for the reply BMPNYC – I agree – I think they did a great job on EZD 3 – and a stereo mix out just seems to work… so why mess with it, I guess…
Thanks,
Sparky
It gives the option to color any individual drum with your own VST/effects outside of the options presented in the EZD mix window. Allows for gated reverb and customizing your sound. I’ve been very happy with the stereo mixes, but am, happy that the option for that amount of customization is there.
