I evaluated EZDrummer 2 on MacOS Monterey.
Yesterday, I decided to buy Superior Drummer 3 from toontrack site. Downloaded the product manager and installed SD3.
Upon startup, I got the message “There is no registration for the EZDrummer 2 Core library on your account”. I can’t proceed any further as this blocks access to the app.
I tried to uninstall EZ Drummer 2 demo, but the uninstaller does not work on MacOS Monterey.
I then tried to remove manually the EZDrummer 2 demo .app file and all files I could find that were associated with the EZDrummer 2 demo, but I still get the error message and can’t proceed with opening SD3 as I can’t get past that dialog.
Entering my SD3 serial number to try to make progress tells me that the serial is for a different product (this makes sense – it’s for SD3).
Does anyone have any ideas?
I’ve paid over 300GBP for a piece of unusable software at the moment.
This probably means that you have no other sound library installed. Have you installed the SD3 core library?
To remove the EZD2 demo core library, go to Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > EZdrummer and delete EZX2_EZdrummer2_Modern.
