So here’s my dilemma. Due to a tough financial situation at the moment, I decided to sell my Superior Drummer 3 Crossgrade. I listed it on Knobcloud and found a buyer. He sent me the money and I submitted the transfer request. Toontrack then emailed me and said that because the new owner doesn’t own EZDrummer 2, the Crossgrade licence can’t be transferred. No problem.
fast forward two days, and to save any confusion, I listed both EZDrummer 2 and Superior Drummer Crossgrade as a package deal (For only £160, I was already getting peanuts for them both.) After finding a buyer and receiving his money, I completed the EZDrummer 2 transfer. No problem. Then I requested the Superior Drummer 3 transfer… And now they’re saying it hasn’t been registered to my account for 30 days!!!!
it was purchased and registered on my account since December 9th 2021. TOONTRACK THEMSELVES unregistered it during the failed transfer attempt and then re-registered it. Am I gonna have to refund this guy, knowing that there’s no logical or possible way for him to just send the EZDrummer licence back, and now be DOWN MONEY!??? Because of Toontrack unregistering my licence?
if this isn’t resolved, they’ve lost a custom ore for life. And I’ll have no choice but to share experience with as many people as possible. Disgraceful.
