Please help me.
I am reinstalling Widows 10. What to do with installed Superior Drummer 3.0 and other Toontrack VSTs and Midi Packs?
Would removing authorization under product manager be appropriate action to latter install program and just point a sample library on actually located on other existing internal drive?
It is not migration to new drive task. My Windows is broken and has been for long time. So I need to start over without loosing any license or product I’ve purchased. I do not see Toontrack technical support contact information or form to fill out. Thanks in advance for taking a time and helping me do this right.
Best regards, Andy.
Hi,
you can start the Product Manager and Deactivate your current OS installation first.
You will have to install the software again after you have wiped the drive and re-installed Windows 10. If your libraries reside on an external drive, they can be pointed to. Unless you have custom located the MIDI repository, you will need to re-install MIDI files as well.
You should be fine just installing the latest updates of each Toontrack instrument you own and then point the software to the Sound Library location after launch.
