I am working in Pro Tools 2020 and recently upgraded to 2021, but had the same issue in 2020.
I have a song I’ve mapped out in EZ Keys. I entered in all the blocks/chords on the time-line manually using the chord finder. I then found a library file I want to apply to change the style of the chords. All no problems, works like a champ. I save my PT session file (like I do in EZ Drummer) and close the session.
When I re-open the session, all my basic chord blocks are there by the play style is no longer applied. I have to re-select all my chord blocks, navigate back through the library and use midi, select the play style and apply it.
I used the Save Project button, gave my project a name and thought that would resolve the issue of having to manually reload the project again. It did not. I save the PT session, close out and re-open and have to repeat all the above steps.
What am I doing wrong???
