So… I have a project that was recorded without click. I’ve created a tempo map so the bars are aligned with the music.
Using the Audio Tracker (via Audio Sender) to capture the bass… editing away the wrong notes (track had quite some bleed)… it sounds good and plays perfectly along with the old bass and the music… However, when I click ‘Add MIDI to Sound Track’ and play from the Grid Editor the sync is totally out of whack. Also if I drag the MIDI to a track it’s really off… It seems like EZ Bass just took the first tempo value and is not following the Tempo Map for it’s MIDI… But if I switch back to the Audio Tracker tab then all is fine again…
How can I get the MIDI to a seperate track that plays in the correct position?
Hmm, when I drag midi from EZ Drummer it works fine. Why isn’t the EZ Bass midi adjusting to the song/project tempo map when dragged to to host?
Is this specific to when you have used the Audio Tracker or what? Kinda makes the audio tracker way less useful if so.
Looking a bit closer… The bars/beats in EZ Bass don’t correlate to the ones in my project… the bars and beats don’t follow the project. Somehow it manages to play in sync as long as the Grid Editor is not chosen and follow host is selected.

Hi,
You need to import a tempo map from your DAW to Audio Tracker to make this work.
Hopefully this will solve your problem:)

Thanked by: Adil82377 and TriphanHmm, tried that but it’s not working very well. It still drifts and the resulting MIDI isn’t syncing up…
I got the same problem ..must try to figure out how i bring a tempo map on? I’m disappointed that our problem seems un toontrack like. imagine ezdrummer had this problem, it would be a hard sell
actually the tempo map worked so I’m much happier now had to do a bit of editing with notes but that seems to be the usual with most midi.
Can’t find this ? Audio Tracker Session, select Options > Tracker Session Setup…
