  Hi,

  I really love SD3. However, I’m a little unsure on the details for each SDX expansion with regards to voices.

  I know there’s an option in SD3 to make the program use unlimited voices and layers, however, how many exactly are recorded for each drum/cymbal?

  Is this related to velocity? I have a feeling that the newer the expansions are, the more voices or detail is incorporated. Is this correct?

  I’m using e-drums and I want the midi recordings to sound a realistic as possible (especially ride cymbals and snare) and so I’m curious as to how many voices are recorded per item, and is this different per SDX expansion?
