I currently have my toontrack library (SD3 plus a bunch of EZX and midi packs, and a few EXMix) on two computers – my studio Macbook, and a windows laptop. I understand that for Toontrack, you can have authorizations for two computers at once, with a total of four authorizations.
I just got an office computer that I am in front of all of the time, and I’d like to compose some SD3 tracks. I guess I could unauthorize my windows laptop, but I do like playing with SD3 on that laptop when I am on vacation. A few questions:
- How difficult is it to switch active authorizations between computers? Assume I am using three total computers, and want to occasionally switch the authorization between two of them.
- If I unauthorize my windows laptop, does it still keep the SD3 files on the computer? So if I go back and authorize it again the files will all be there and intact?
