Topic: samplitude midi maps

well i hope this is usefull for samplitude users,

this is ment for manually editing midi, not e drums.(as far as i know)

all done with sd3 in samplitude 4 pro x
All Maps are midi channel 10.

“Basic” called presets are probably more convenient for editing coz in the full ones
(all cymbals with all articulations) the overview is heavy
(only to be used in the morning with full cawfee flash).

cymbals as toms are in the “row” how they appear on the image of drummer from left to right – in my little opinion logically.

IMPORTANT : in the “midi in / edrums settings” of sd3 “use” has to be disabled !!!

Maps are within the vip

1. Allaire
loads a preset with a (xtom) racktom all cymbals and articulations (ludwig 1962)

2. Avatar
loads a preset with all cymbals and articulations (gms coated)
(866 mb ram loaded)

3. Hit Factory
loads a preset with all cymbals and articulations (gms coated)
(416 mb ram loaded)

4. Roots Brushes Basic
loads a preset with all cymbals but only all articulations on Ride 2 (rest cymbals just crash And Mute Loaded) Racktom 1= Gretsch usa custom 10″ / Floortom 2= Slingerland Radioking 16″

5. Roots Brushes Full
loads a preset with all cymbals and all articulations loaded
Racktom 1= Gretsch usa custom 10″ / Floortom 2= Slingerland Radioking 16″

6. Roots Sticks Basic
loads a preset with all cymbals but only all articulations on Ride 2 (rest cymbals just crash And Mute loaded) Racktom 1= Gretsch usa custom 10″ / Floortom 2= Slingerland Radioking 16″

7. Roots Sticks Full
loads a preset with all cymbals and all articulations loaded

8. sd3 All Rides
loads a preset with all cymbals and articulations,xept Crescendo (Yamaha Beech Custom)
(2991 mb ram loaded)

9. sd3 Standard
loads a preset with all cymbals but only the ride with all articulations all the other cymbals
= crash,mute hit and mute tail (Ludwig Classic 3 Ply)
(2586 mb ram loaded)

this has been a 10 hours nightmare anybody who developed a map editor please contact me…
feel free to tell me that it is completely useless…
seriously, let me know if you “betterized” it.
