Hi, I have been setting up a new recording set up at home. I have the laptop, a DAW, EZkeys which is really good, a TC Helicon Live 3 and ALTO ZMX52 mixer which someone gave me years ago but I’ve never used it for anything.
My problem is getting the DAW to pick up instrument/vocals. The TC Helicon Voicelive 3 is a really good piece of equipment but to my surprise you can’t use it to plug into and record to a laptop/computer as far as I know? I just assumed it would be able to through the USB connection. So is there any way of connecting the Voicelive 3 and ALTO mixer together and into the laptop to record or am I just going to have to buy a separate audio interface to be able to record?
I was surprised the Voicelive 3 can’t just plug in and record seeing as it has a USB port. It’s disappointing as it’s a really nice piece of equipment.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
