I have just tried to re-install ezdrummer 2 on my PC and it keeps coming up with the same error:

download of ezdrummer 2.0.2(windows) has stopped. The Connection Has Timed Out.

Would love some solution to this as currently i have nothing t use

Do you have any antivirus software active? It may be blocking the connection.
