Separate MIDI In & Internal MIDI settings is inconvenient.
I finger drum and use a custom layout when doing so. But if I want to say, play kick & hats but like a snare/tom groove from SD3, there’s no way to drag & drop it to my DAW with compatibility, not without a LOT remapping.
I get that this works well on SD3’s song track, but I’m most often adjusting MIDI in my DAW; adjusting kick, snare, bass groove for example. Jumping back & forth is a workflow killer.

Am I really the only one looking for universal MIDI mapping?
