    Hi,

I am not familiar with Mixcraft, so I can’t give you any inside tips for that host. I know that in Logic, you can just use the virtual keyboard with your computer keys. Doing it that way will result in very static drums, though.

There are a lot of MIDI controllers out there which will let you trigger the drums with your fingers, do check some of them out at your local musical instruments shop. Personally I use a KORG padKONTROL, which is very old but works well.

Setting a Q value for the input depends on host. On the EZdrummer 2 Song Track, you Quantize what’s on the Track, i.e. after recording.

There is a lot of drum grooves suitable for Country IMHO. When you have EZDrummer 2, you can preview MIDI from the Web shop before buying it.

    Thank you for the answer.
I bought the program and all the country additions. Yes, soon I get a midikeyboard. As soon as I am in the process of testing everything, learning how this works and soon recording!
