Before I buy EZdrummer 2! Then I have to answer some questions.
1. Today I use Mixcraft 8.1. How do I use the virtual piano in Mixcraft to enter drums with my keyboard?
2. And are there USB hardware accessories that you can connect to your computer where you can turn on the drums with your fingers? Any tips?
3. Is it possible to set quantize before entering the drums, or should one do this afterwards?
4. Are there classic country drum songs for this software that can be downloaded or purchased?
These are questions I would like to know.
But the first question determines if I should buy this software, as it is impossible and use the mouse for this.
I hope and expect quick answers, as this software is the only one missing and getting completed my studio. So that I can start and create new country songs.
With best regards
from Sweden

Hi,
I am not familiar with Mixcraft, so I can’t give you any inside tips for that host. I know that in Logic, you can just use the virtual keyboard with your computer keys. Doing it that way will result in very static drums, though.
There are a lot of MIDI controllers out there which will let you trigger the drums with your fingers, do check some of them out at your local musical instruments shop. Personally I use a KORG padKONTROL, which is very old but works well.
Setting a Q value for the input depends on host. On the EZdrummer 2 Song Track, you Quantize what’s on the Track, i.e. after recording.
There is a lot of drum grooves suitable for Country IMHO. When you have EZDrummer 2, you can preview MIDI from the Web shop before buying it.

Thank you for the answer.
I bought the program and all the country additions. Yes, soon I get a midikeyboard. As soon as I am in the process of testing everything, learning how this works and soon recording!
