    Hi,

which macOS version are you on?

Have you tried re-downloading the PM from the Toontrack site to re-install it?

    BR,

    John

    Hi John,

I’m running 10.14.3. Already uninstalled, reboot and reinstalled both PM and EZ.

Please upload a crash log. (Click “Meld…”, copy all text from there, save it to a new TextEdit document and attach it to your reply.)

Thanks. It looks like it crashed purely in Apple’s code. Maybe some earlier crash log could show something different. Please open Finder’s “Go” menu, select “Go to Folder…” and paste the following into the text field:

    ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports

In the folder that opens, select all files that start with “Toontrack Product Manager”, compress them and attach the zip file.

When you start Product Manager, do you get any kind of dialog or prompt before it crashes?

You could also check if the system logs any error messages when you try to start Product Manager. Open Applications > Utilities > Console. Check in “system.log” (select it from the sidebar) and in “your computer/device” (at the top) if anything special appears at the time when you try to start Product Manager. Perhaps something that mentions “persistent state” because the crash log did so.

Hm, no, they were all very similar, except the two first ones that were strangely totally empty. I would guess there is some macOS cache for this application that is corrupt. Maybe it could help to boot once in safe mode.

To download your products, you could use the “web version” if you can’t get the Product Manager running.

Already tried safe mode, but same ‘error’. I’ve downloaded the extension pack to install manually…but…it’s getting even worse. See screendump.

Product Manager also shows another message, see screendump.

Hi, I ‘solved’ it by creating another user account. PM did start from that account, so I was able to install extension packs. It’s not the best solution but it works for now. Thanks for all you help!

Alright, sorry for the problems. Did you always get the “Another PM is already running” dialog before each crash?

Since you successfully used PM on another account, it has been updated from version 1.0.1 to 1.0.6, so you should probably no longer get the “Another PM” dialog on your main account (since those two versions use different lock files). If you still get a crash, please upload the log since none of the previous crash logs were for version 1.0.6.
