John EZdrummer is only supported for E-drum use with Toontrack solo and the ‘E-drums’ MIDI setting.
Have you checked the MIDI inputs (and Audio outputs) settings in Toontrack solo?
Which version of Toontrack solo are you running? Which version of EZdrummer?
