I usually create my songs using the MIDI libraries by simply dragging the desired rhytms/fills etc straight into the DAW. That worked perfect with SD2.
But, with SD3, it behaves strangely…
Imagine I have a tempotrack with 120BPM set up.
If I drag any MIDI pattern out of the SD3 browser into the DAW arrangement window (Cubase Pro 9.5), it changes the tempotrack to the original tempo the pattern was in. I always have to delete the inserted marker, to get back to my original tempo in the tempo track.
This behaviour was in the initial version of SD3, then it was fixed with one of the versions in between, and is somehow reintroduced with the latest patch.
So please – I just want to be able to drag MIDI patterns from SD3 into Cubase Pro, without it editing my tempo (and time signature) track.
