I have a Mac with 10.12.6 OS. I downloaded the product manager (PM) from the Toontrack website. After successfully installing the dmg, I launched the application. Upon launching the application, the app prompted me to update and install the new version with a button below the notice to “download and install.” After clicking the button, the app shows the progress with the download and install, but shortly (a few seconds after pressing download and install) afterwords, it crashes and says
Update of Toontrack Product Manager failed!
Could not remove the old version of the application.
Troubleshooting so far:
I have attempted to reset my computer and restart to attempt the update. – Same Results
I have attempted to wipe the manager off my computer and redownload from scratch. – Same Results

After spending three days trying to figure this product manager update issue with no support I finally found the answer. It is a shame no one was able to direct me to this sooner:https://www.toontrack.com/forum/product-manager-support/update-of-toontrack-product-manager-failed-error/
