Hi, guys!
I am considering programming the drums using SD3 on my album. The thing is that my drummer lives in another city, but we both want to work on the drums.
What would you say/think is the best way to do this?
The simplest is to just send back and forth the midi track I guess. And just import the new midi file each time with improvements.
But there is no way that we somehow could keep the project in dropbox f.ex, and basically work on the project it simultaneously, or something like that?
I seems like a long shot, but I wanted to just throw it out there to hear if anyone had any thoughts about it.
Have any of you done programming of drums together with others, making changes and sending back and forth? Did you find an effective workflow that made the process easy?
Thanks for any replies.
I haven’t tried this myself but you both could try creating a “User MIDI” folder on your computer
that sync’s to your DropBox or Google Drive for the grooves that you’re working on together.
