NO OPTION FOR DOWNLOADING SD3 ON EXTERNAL DRIVE

I have gone through all the steps necessary to download SD3 Library Part 1.

1) Even though I prefer to download the libraries its on external drive, I see no option for navigating to external drive.
2) And even though my MacBook has 56GB available drive space, the basic sound library won’t load there either, with a ” not enough room ” error message.

How do I load SD3 on external drive?

OOPS- I finally found it. You have to change the download location in the preference file.

In the Preferences of the Product Manager,
you are afforded the opportunity to change the location where your downloads will be saved.
This can be any location of your choice, on an internal or external storage device.

EDIT: OOPS!! I see that you’ve added a follow up to your initial post.
