Hi everybody,
I’m Robert from Sweden and I’m totally new to home recordings, so please point me in the right direction if I’m in the wrong forum or something like that.
I have installed EZdrummer 2 on my computer and connected my Roland TD-3 kit using a MIDI-USB cable (MidiSport Uno). I open EZdrummer in standalone mode (not from Studio One 3 which I intend to use to make my recordings).
When I click on the drums in EZdrummer, or hit the pads on my kit, I hear the sound from the computer, and when I turn the metronome on and press play I hear that too. When I record, either by clicking the drums in the program or by playing the TD-3 kit, EZdrummer recognizes the MIDI data (each hit turns into a dot on the bar at the bottom of the screen), but when I have finished recording and wants to hear what I recorded I can only hear the metronome (and if I turn the metronome off, I hear nothing). Why?
It doesn’t matter if I change the sound settings from ASIO to something else, I have tried restarting both the program and the computer but nothing changes. The output channel is the only output channel I can select in the settings. The weirdest thing is that a couple of days ago I could hear my recordings, so something has happened to some setting somewhere but I can’t make out what.
I would be most grateful for any assistance.
Regards,
Robert
