I’m having problems bouncing midi files I have created using tracker.
I click export from track and it creates the midi files. I then drag these into the bottom and if I click play it plays them as it should.
What I am trying to do is set each channel I want to bounce to a stereo out, so kick in is set to “out1/2” and panned hard left, kick out is also set to out 1/2 and panned hard right, kick sub is “out 3/4” panned left etc. I am selecting to split stereo files.
When I click bounce it goes through everything, all the files are present in the folder I’m bouncing to until it completes then they vanish. They are not in my recycle bin or anything.
If I only select kick in and out 1/2 it appears to bounce the one file down.
Also, why does it go through every single mixer channel if I have bleed turned off and only want to bounce 4 tracks?
What is the correct process for doing this?
Essentially I want to bounce down kick, snare and toms with the mixer effects to separate audio files, what is the best way of doing this?
Thanks

Hi,
the internal Bounce is either per microphone or per mixer output. The latter is WYHIWYG. I would probably mute all mixer faders I didn’t want to include in the mixer Bounce and then route the remaining ones to separate outputs. E.g. route all Kick faders and Buses to output 1/2, Snare faders and Buses to output 3/4, etc.
You do not need to have each output set up to hardware outputs, the mixer and plugin still have 16 Stereo outputs.
