As the title suggests, I would love to have the ability to reassign the “Source File” groove to a different song part in the Song Creator.
Here’s why:
– I started with a guitar part and recorded it into my DAW (Logic)
– I played a kick and snare groove that matched my guitar groove, exported the midi file, and dropped it into Grooves -> Tap2Find.
– I found the perfect groove. However, it was a 4 bar Fill part. It had one additional snare hit at the end that worked well with my song idea.
– I dropped this file into Song Creator and selected my Song Structure. But, the Verses and Choruses don’t really match my Source File. Song Creator sees it as a Fill part, so the other Song Parts don’t really work with the base Groove of my song. I would like to be able to reassign my Source File to a Verse or Chorus part, and have Song Creator use that as a basis to suggest the other song parts.
SD3 is FANTASTIC! And I know this a little nit-picky, but I thought I’d provide some feedback that would fit my workflow.
