I’m a licensed Beatstation user. Somehow my core user content was deleted. Possibly by an antivirus program or a tech working on my pc. I’m not sure but it just disappeared. The bad news is I cannot retrieve a fresh install! I have deleted all the empty file folders and downloaded a new copy through the product manager. Still many of the LIB files do not appear. It displays an error message each time I open it. I set the correct file path and it says they do not exist!!! I can find no place to replace these files. I basically have a program I paid for which is essentially useless.
Where can I get the content I bought and paid for?
I can find zero download links or support for this issue. Please help. It’s a nice program but I’m so frustrated at this point, I fear I have wasted my hard earned cash!
In Product Manager, under Beatstation have you clicked “Details” and downloaded the (1.0.4) product update and sound library update?

Never Mind. Thanks very much Brad. I figured out the problem. The Product manager was buggy on my system for some odd reason. I did run the updater, but the files could not be located. The downloader just did not function correctly. Once I used the web version, all was made well. Not the best experience but I’m now able to use the program. It works great when the content is installed! Thanks for your help. Great quality VSTI and it runs great in Studio One Pro.
I’m going through something similar. I just upgraded my Laptop, and when I try to use TPM to install a fresh copy, it has no Core Content, and the 32 bit version gets an Error 1606 while “Computing Space Requirements” apparently, it cant reach the network location. Beatstation works, but with no content. TPM says that all is up to date and the version is 1.0.4
It is all good on my Studio Tower PC, however. Is there a way I can move something from the Tower to the Laptop and make it whole between the two machines?
Thanks. Beatstation is a wonderful practice metronome because of all the random functions. I find new grooves by just jamming along.
Hi,
I would make sure to install the full product (1,5GB) from the Product Manager so it’s not just the update.

So, I figured something out! When the Product Manager downloads the Beatstation content, it fails to kick off the Core Content installer correctly. But if you go to the folder that you told the Product Manager to use, the Core Content installer is there, and you can kick it off from there, outside the Product Manager realm. Even though it’s an old product, it’s fun! and maybe I’ll help someone by posting this here.

The same thing keeps happening I get no Core using TOONTRACK product manager. please help me
So here’s what worked for me- let me try to explain it clearer than what I wrote above- Sorry!
I see you’re on Win 8, and not Win 10. I hope it’s the same hiccup that I was able to work around. First, Look in the Product Manager settings to see where Product Manager is downloading the files.
Go there, and there were Beatstation installers still zipped, that PM just unzips/launches for you- but for some reason weren’t launching for me. I imagine it’s the same for you. When I launched them from there like standard Windows installs, they worked. When I went back to PM, I was able to then update Beatstation and it all worked.
I’m not in my studio just now, I’ll be in there later this weekend- I’ll see if all that stuff is still there or if it has been auto-wiped by Windows memory management…
Good Luck! I’ll check in and get you sorted.

I don’t fully understand what you are doing.
You click the red download button under the full product download yes or no? What exactly happens when you click it?
I need exact steps you are doing in order to help.
